The Skilled Labour Shortage Might Be a Myth & a Fully Booked Networking Event
Hallo Reader -
Happy Sunday! To get you started for the week, here's the latest from The Berlin Life.
In community news and announcements:
- We're growing more and more! The mailing list is at 1,716 people, up 19 people since last week! Our Facebook group numbers went down a bit due to the usual removing spam accounts and banning a couple of members for being uncool. We're still at 8,300. π
- Our community and networking event is now fully booked and 15 of us will be meeting up in real life on Thursday, March 9 @ 7 pm. It was heart warming to see so many people wanting to attend, so if the event goes well, we'll definitely do it again.
- Next week, I'll be releasing a premium version of this newsletter with some special perks for our members. Stay tuned to find out the details. Note, this free version will still continue.
If you didn't catch last week's newsletter, get caught up:
Our newest Berlin Life guide is jam packed with tips about how to save money in Germany:

π‘ Job tip of the week:
When you write a cover letter, you don't have to write it in a snail mail format. There's no need to include your address or the company's address. There's no need for them to know where you live and they already know where they're located. π
Another thing you don't need to include? A signature! Simply sign off with a standard salutation like "Kind regards" and then your first and last name.
Best of all, you'll save plenty of space on the page, as well as precious time.
