I like to say The Berlin Life is made with care and caffeine in Berlin.
The newsletter goes out every week, the guides stay online and free, the podcast keeps going, and the list of companies hiring gets updated whether or not anyone pays for it. This is deliberate, because the people who need this information most are usually the ones who have the least to spare.
It does cost something to keep The Berlin Life running, though. There are hosting fees for the website, payment processing fees, the tools I use to research and send everything, and the hours that go into checking every job link for the newsletter.
